Do you need support settling into life in Haapsalu and managing everyday matters? Or are you looking for information about local services, Estonian language learning opportunities, cultural events or community organisations? Integration coordinator Julia Gurjeva can help you find useful information and contacts, understand public services and discover opportunities available in Haapsalu.
We offer the following support to new residents of Haapsalu, newcomers to Estonia, people from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, and returnees:
- Local life and everyday matters: We provide information about services, benefits and everyday life in Haapsalu, and help you navigate everyday administrative matters.
- Estonian language learning and adaptation programmes: We guide you towards suitable Estonian language courses, adaptation programmes and information sessions.
- Cultural and community events: We organise meetings and events that help you meet local residents, make new connections and settle into life in Haapsalu.
- Local communities and organisations: We work closely with Haapsalu City Government and local communities, including many new residents, and help you find opportunities to take part in community life.
- Information and online resources: We maintain and regularly update the website loim.haapsalu.ee, where you can find useful information, practical guides and announcements.
