Senior Club in Haapsalu “Why Do I Live in Estonia…”

Senior Club “Why Do I Live in Estonia…” invites seniors and older adults living in Haapsalu to join a new club that supports integration and everyday life in Estonia. Everyone is welcome who wishes to make new connections and gain a better understanding of the Estonian language, culture, and way of life. Our meetings offer joyful community, conversations, and meaningful shared activities.

Our club “Why Do I Live in Estonia…” is designed for you if you would like to feel more confident, supported, and included in Estonia. Club meetings take place on Wednesdays, twice a month. This club is for you if you would like to:

• add a bit of excitement to your everyday life
• strengthen your Estonian language skills
• gain a better understanding of Estonian culture and history
• share your own story and listen to the stories of others
• play board games and memory training games
• do something enjoyable together – sing, cook, and do crafts
• discover beautiful places in Läänemaa together
• take part in discussion groups
• meet guest speakers
• participate in intergenerational activities

The club is open to everyone who is looking for a supportive community and meaningful social interaction.

Meeting time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Club activities take place as part of of the project “Integration and Adaptation Support in Haapsalu”, which aims to support the integration and adaptation of people from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds in Estonia.
