Haapsalu Pop-up Home Café Weekend 2025
Come and experience the unique atmosphere of the Haapsalu Pop-up Home Café Weekend 2025! On 16–17 August 2025, more than 40 home cafés across Haapsalu will open their doors to visitors, offering homemade food, warm hospitality, and family-friendly entertainment.
As part of this special weekend, you are invited to enjoy international cuisines, cultural programmes, and tastes from around the world. Three of these cafés will highlight the culinary traditions and cultures of Karelia, Turkey, and Ukraine — enriching the local community with their stories, flavours, and shared experiences.

Traditional Ingrian dishes, folk games and language games for children and adults alike.
Flavours of Turkey

Enjoy an authentic culinary journey to the Middle East. The café will offer Turkish and Kurdish cuisine, along with traditional music and dancing.
Flavours of Ukraine

Ukrainian cuisine, crafts, entertainment and activities for children and adults.
As part of Haapsalu’s Integration and Adaptation Support Programme, these three cafés invite you to discover the cultures and traditions of various national communities.
